Jewish Pride from a Canadian Israeli Perspective

Gil Troy is a distinguished scholar in North American History at McGill University, an award-winning American presidential historian, and a leading Zionist activist. Gil will lead a discussion that will help us rediscover and elevate our pride and love of Israel, Judaism, and being Canadian, and he will delve into how our shared values can guide each of us on our life journey.

Ambassador-Designate Iddo Moed will also bring greetings.

Professor Gil Troy is Distinguished Scholar in North American History at McGill University, currently living in Jerusalem, and an award-winning American presidential historian and a leading Zionist activist. He is the editor of the new three-volume set, Theodor Herzl: Zionist Writings, the inaugural publication of The Library of the Jewish People. Two years ago, he co-authored with Natan Sharansky Never Alone: Prison, Politics and My People, published by Public Affairs of Hachette. He was recently designated one of The Algemeiner's J-100, one of the top 100 people "positively influencing Jewish life.”
