Israeli Writer, Speaker, and ActivistHen Mazzig is an Israeli writer, speaker, activist, and senior fellow at the Tel Aviv Institute. A Zionist of Iraqi Jewish and Tunisian Jewish descent, Mazzig was named one of the Top 50 NYC Jewish LGBTQ+ Influencers.
His first book, The Wrong Kind of Jew: A Mizrahi Manifesto, was published by Wicked Son Press. His op-eds have been featured in The LA Times and The Vancouver Sun, among others. In 2020, Mazzig started a viral movement, #JewishPrivilege, telling Jews’ personal stories of discrimination and abuse. He has spoken internationally on antisemitism, on combating BDS campaigns, and the plight of 850,000 Jews expelled from Arab lands.
